We wanted to provide our parents and students with advance notice that, starting this school year, Act 122 (“Bell to Bell, No Cell”) prohibits the use/possession of phones, earbuds & other devices during the school day. Devices must be off & stored. Learn more: bit.ly/Bell-to-Bell

2/2: Due to limited parking, graduates may be dropped off at the Activity Center at 5:30 or they will report to CHB at 5:15 to be shuttled to the Activity Center. A shuttle will run after the ceremony for graduates needing a ride back to their vehicle.

Seniors will report to the HHS cafeteria tomorrow morning at 8:00 for breakfast. They will load buses at 8:45 for walk-throughs & graduation practice. They will return to HHS around 12:30. Graduates taking the AP exam will be shuttled back to HHS at 11:00. ALL GRADUATES MUST BRING CAPS & GOWNS TO PRACTICE. Due to limited parking, graduates may be dropped off at the Activity Center at 5:30 or they will report to CHB at 5:15 to be shuttled to the Activity Center. The Huntsville School District will be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th, but school buses will be running inclement weather routes due to hazardous secondary roads. ❄️ Snow Day Alert: No School Friday, January 10th ❄️ Huntsville School District will be closed on Friday, January 10th, due to forecasted snow and potentially hazardous road conditions. 🔹 This closure will use one of our built-in weather days from the 2024-2025 calendar, so there will be no change to the end of the school year. 🔹 All athletic events, games, and other scheduled activities for Friday have been postponed. 🚨 Early Dismissal Announcement for Tomorrow, January 9th 🚨 After monitoring the weather and consulting with other districts, we have made the decision to dismiss school early tomorrow, January 9th. With winter weather expected to move in later in the afternoon, our priority is the safety of our students and staff. Our goal is to ensure everyone is home before conditions worsen. Dismissal times are as follows: 📚 Watson Primary & Intermediate – 1:30 PM 📚 Huntsville Middle School – 1:45 PM 📚 Huntsville High School – 2:00 PM 📚 St. Paul – 1:30 PM Please Note: If the weather arrives earlier than expected, dismissal times may be adjusted. This is a friendly reminder for all of our graduates and their families that any senior who is driving needs to be at the Charles Berry gymnasium by 5:25 PM. They will be shuttled over to the activity center. If you are dropping your senior off, they must be at the activity center by 5:30 PM. You may drop them off at the rear entrance. The doors will open at 6 PM for the activity center for the public. Graduation starts at 7 PM. Included is a parking map for your convenience. Graduation Festivities Ceremony: 7:00 pm at the AT and Georgia Mae Smith Activity Center on Eagle Ave. (road right next to Boston Mountain Clinic) on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Graduates should arrive at the arena at 5:30.
