February is Career & Technical Education (CTE) Appreciation Month! 🎉🔧📚 This month, we celebrate the incredible impact of Career & Technical Education in preparing students for success in high-demand careers and real-world skills beyond the classroom. From welding to healthcare, business to technology, agriculture to culinary arts, CTE programs equip students with hands-on experience and industry certifications that set them up for lifelong success. 👏 A huge THANK YOU to our CTE teachers, students, and industry partners who make these programs thrive! ❄️ Snow Day Alert: No School Friday, January 10th ❄️ Huntsville School District will be closed on Friday, January 10th, due to forecasted snow and potentially hazardous road conditions. 🔹 This closure will use one of our built-in weather days from the 2024-2025 calendar, so there will be no change to the end of the school year. 🔹 All athletic events, games, and other scheduled activities for Friday have been postponed. 🚨 Early Dismissal Announcement for Tomorrow, January 9th 🚨 After monitoring the weather and consulting with other districts, we have made the decision to dismiss school early tomorrow, January 9th. With winter weather expected to move in later in the afternoon, our priority is the safety of our students and staff. Our goal is to ensure everyone is home before conditions worsen.
