Let's meet the staff! This week we are meeting our Paraprofessionals!!!! Staring from the left bottom row, Amanda Hobbs, Kara Ritchie, Patricia Bryant, Jesse Parker and Christina Villanueva. Starting from the left middle row we have Jana Honeycutt, Carrie Eoff, Jenna Wagoner, and Jonathon "Skipper" Speece. Last two in the third row starting from the left, Christin Kelly, and Nicole Bellinger. Behind every great classroom there is an outstanding paraprofessional. Their support makes success possible for our students and teachers. 🦅❤

NWA Naturals Read for Tickets Challenge Presented by Arkansas Tech University: All HIS students who read for at least 30 minutes per day during the week of August 25th will receive two complimentary Dugout Premium tickets to the September 2nd baseball game. All readers will be recognized on the field/videoboard pregame. The Reading Form for the students is attached and copies are available at the office.
All parents/guardians are invited to attend our first P.I.E. meeting of the school year! It will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 4:15 pm in the HIS Library. Please join in and help us make this a groovy year for our students!

Hi! The arrival of the 2024-2025 HIS yearbook is delayed, but they should be here by the end of June! I will be setting up at school for a couple of days after they arrive to distribute the yearbooks that have already been purchased and to sell the extras. Other meeting arrangements can also be made. As of today, we have 60 extra yearbooks. If you want to bring or send money for a yearbook today or tomorrow, we will reserve a copy for you! They are $25. After the yearbooks arrive and I know the dates I will be at school, I will let everyone know! Thank you for your patience. ❤️ Mrs. Phillips
Dear Parents, if your student has medication in the nurses' office it must be picked up by a parent before the end of the school year. All medication not picked up by Thursday, May 29th will be disposed of. No medication will be stored/kept at school. Please contact nurse Ashley for any questions.
