Attention all HSD Nation! If you have not completed either an online or paper copy of the Free & Reduced Meal Application, please do so ASAP to be entered to win some great prizes!!! You can apply here: bit.ly/hsd-free
We still have 533 students that need to fill out an application, these applications directly impact our students and community. These applications affect the amount of funding that is given to HSD to be used for your child's education along with many other benefits! By completing the application, you will help your kids, and their school will benefit too! If you have any questions, please contact your child's school cafeteria supervisor.

If the Huntsville School District can reach 70% for our Free & Reduced percentage before October 1st, all students, regardless of income, will receive free meals for the next five years. This will save approximately $836 per student per year if you currently pay for breakfast and lunch. We are currently at 62% with over 500 students who still haven't completed an application. You can submit the form online by going to bit.ly/hsd-free

Today is National Administrative Professionals Day. This is an opportunity to recognize the professionals who keep our offices running smoothly every day. We take this day to recognize the work of our secretaries, administrative assistants, and other administrative support professionals who are central to all our district schools and departments. These professionals keep our schools and district running smoothly and we could not function without them each and every day! Thanks for all you do! #HSDistheplacetobe
