Traffic Pattern Change โ Huntsville Middle School
As part of our continued commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our students, we are updating the traffic flow around Huntsville Middle School beginning when we return from Thanksgiving Break.
To help improve campus safety, School Drive (the road running through the HMS campus) will be closed to thru traffic during school hours.
All daytime traffic will now use Circle Drive on the right side of Middle School Hill. Vehicles will go up the hill, circle the HMS parking lot, and then return down the same side.
We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with the City of Huntsville, who helped prepare the area and support this safety improvement.
Please note:
- The road will be closed only during school hours
- After school, traffic will reopen and flow as normal
Thank you to our families, neighbors, and community for your understanding and support as we continue prioritizing student safety.

Time for a team challenge! ๐

๐งตโ๏ธ Our FCSI students in Mrs. Beaver's class have been putting their new skills to the test! ๐บ๐ธ Mrs. Princeโs 7th Grade Social Studies class set sail into history! โ๏ธ
After studying the events leading up to the American Revolution, students learned about the Boston Tea Party and how colonists protested by dumping tea into the harbor. Then, they put their knowledge to the test by designing and building boats that could float with 28 bottles of tea onboard! ๐ข๐ก
What a creative way to make history come alive! ๐ #HMSProud
