🚨 Early Dismissal Announcement for Tomorrow, January 9th 🚨
After monitoring the weather and consulting with other districts, we have made the decision to dismiss school early tomorrow, January 9th. With winter weather expected to move in later in the afternoon, our priority is the safety of our students and staff. Our goal is to ensure everyone is home before conditions worsen.
Dismissal times are as follows:
📚 Watson Primary & Intermediate – 1:30 PM
📚 Huntsville Middle School – 1:45 PM
📚 Huntsville High School – 2:00 PM
📚 St. Paul – 1:30 PM
Please Note: If the weather arrives earlier than expected, dismissal times may be adjusted.

✨ Exciting Hands-On Learning for Our GT Students!
Yesterday, our GT students welcomed Dr. Kevin D. Phelan, Program Director of AR Tech DaSH and Professor of Neuroscience at UAMS – NW campus. He demonstrated how ultrasound and CT imaging work, teaching students to identify structures like skin, bone, muscle, arteries, and veins.
Using an ultrasound, Dr. Phelan performed scans on his arm, neck, heart, and abdomen, sparking curiosity as students analyzed a fluid-filled "spot" on his thyroid and determined it could be a cyst!
