Our Popsicle Party last Thursday was poppinβ! ππ It was the first team challenge of the year, and the winners in each grade level earned a sweet reward. Nothing better than working hard and playing hard together! π






Discovering math in action! π Mr. Fosterβs students tore apart parallelograms to uncover the formula for the area of a triangle. π




Our 7th grade Stellar Eagles team spent time in advisory today building teamwork and connections! π Team building is an important part of the middle school modelβit helps students feel included, supported, and part of something bigger. π Eagles soar higher together! π¦

πΌ Mrs. Beaverβs career class explored real-life opportunities in Arkansas as they learned about career clusters.

Our Outdoor Ed students had a big week! πΏπ― They put in the work and completed their Hunterβs Education course. Several students are now officially certifiedβwhat an awesome accomplishment! π These are just a few of the students who passed, and weβre so proud of their hard work and responsibility in learning the skills and safety practices that go along with the outdoors.

Our 6th graders were hard at work yesterday in ELA! πβ¨ Students partnered up to dig into texts, working together to figure out the theme and how it's revealed through supporting detailsβone of our priority standards. Our first week was a fantastic week at HMS! We are learning to Grow, Succeed, and Conquer The Hill!










What a great night! We had an awesome turnout at Open House, and weβre so thankful for all the families who came out to connect with us. It was a joy seeing our halls full of energy and excitement for the new school year! πππ¦




Day 2 of Inservice/Professional Development: Rooted in Purpose, Ready for the Year We spent some time today doing the work that fuels the workβrevisiting our mission, refining our vision, and grounding ourselves in the commitments weβve made to our students and each other. This team shows up with heart, with purpose, and with a shared belief in whatβs possible. The year ahead is full of potentialβand weβre ready!







Our Huntsville Middle School Admin Team spent the week at the 2025 AAEA Conference in Little Rock, learning alongside school leaders from our district and across Arkansas. Weβre always working to become better leaders for our studentsβbecause when we grow, they benefit. Grateful for the inspiration from Todd Whitaker, Jack Berckemeyer, and so many others! #AAEALEGACY






Shout out to some of our awesome 8th grade football players!
When asked to help out, these young men stepped up without hesitationβmoving desks, chairs, and bookshelves to support other classrooms. They set a great example of teamwork, leadership, and character. Way to go!
