To kick off the Lord of the Flies unit in 7th grade ELA, students were challenged to “survive” a plane crash on a deserted island! With no help from their “ghost” teacher, they had to collaborate, problem-solve, and navigate tough decisions - just like the boys in the novel.
We want to clarify an important date regarding the Rising 9th Grade Parent Night. In a recent video, the date was mistakenly shared as February 11. The correct date for this event is March 11.

Huntsville School District will be closed on Friday, January 10th, due to forecasted snow and potentially hazardous road conditions.
🔹 This closure will use one of our built-in weather days from the 2024-2025 calendar, so there will be no change to the end of the school year.
🔹 All athletic events, games, and other scheduled activities for Friday have been postponed.
