Our Outdoor Ed students had a big week! 🌿🎯 They put in the work and completed their Hunter’s Education course. Several students are now officially certified—what an awesome accomplishment! 👏 These are just a few of the students who passed, and we’re so proud of their hard work and responsibility in learning the skills and safety practices that go along with the outdoors.

Our 6th graders were hard at work yesterday in ELA! 📚✨ Students partnered up to dig into texts, working together to figure out the theme and how it's revealed through supporting details—one of our priority standards. Love seeing their teamwork and critical thinking shine! 💡👏 #EaglePride #EngagedLearners

💙 A huge THANK YOU to our local Kiwanis Club for their generous donation of school supplies! Their support helps ensure our students have what they need to learn and grow. We are so grateful for this incredible community partnership! 📚✏️ #CommunitySupport #ThankYouKiwanis

Day 2 of Inservice/Professional Development: Rooted in Purpose, Ready for the Year We spent some time today doing the work that fuels the work—revisiting our mission, refining our vision, and grounding ourselves in the commitments we’ve made to our students and each other. This team shows up with heart, with purpose, and with a shared belief in what’s possible. The year ahead is full of potential—and we’re ready!

Our Huntsville Middle School Admin Team spent the week at the 2025 AAEA Conference in Little Rock, learning alongside school leaders from our district and across Arkansas. We’re always working to become better leaders for our students—because when we grow, they benefit. Grateful for the inspiration from Todd Whitaker, Jack Berckemeyer, and so many others! #AAEALEGACY

Shout out to some of our awesome 8th grade football players!
When asked to help out, these young men stepped up without hesitation—moving desks, chairs, and bookshelves to support other classrooms. They set a great example of teamwork, leadership, and character. Way to go!

We wanted to provide our parents and students with advance notice that, starting this school year, Act 122 (“Bell to Bell, No Cell”) prohibits the use/possession of phones, earbuds & other devices during the school day. Devices must be off & stored. Learn more: bit.ly/Bell-to-Bell
