📣🌿 Exciting News for Huntsville Middle School!
Huntsville Middle School has been awarded $5,432.13 through the Arkansas Game and Fish Wildlife Education Grant Program! 🎉
This funding will support our students by giving them even more opportunities to learn through hands-on outdoor experiences.
A huge thank you to Mr. Jared Henry for pursuing this grant and helping expand opportunities for our students. These resources will be used in our Outdoor Education class, helping students connect with nature, conservation, and real-world science. 🌎🐟🌲
We are grateful to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the Division of Rural Services for investing in our students and their learning!

Please remember: students will only have their photo taken if a picture order is placed. To make sure your student is photographed, you must either:

✔️ Send the picture envelope back to school with payment. (These will be sent home today)

Our Junior FFA students at Huntsville Middle School started our morning off right! 🥞💙
In celebration of FFA Week, they teamed up to make delicious pancakes for our staff — and they were SO yummy!

🏆 Timothy Grout brought home Novice Champion in his division and also earned 3rd place in the Open division — what an incredible accomplishment!
🏆 Beckett Smith claimed Novice Champion in his division, making him a 2x Novice State Champion!
Their hard work, dedication, and determination truly paid off. We’re so proud of these boys and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 💙👏

Our HMS Builders Club spent part of their afternoon giving back by helping with a campus cleanup. We are so proud of their commitment to community service and taking pride in keeping our campus clean and beautiful.

Last Spring semester’s personal care item drive was truly amazing! Because of your generosity, school counselors and nurses were able to fully stock our support closets and meet the needs of so many students! Your support made an immediate and meaningful difference.
At this time, we have used most of those items and are in need of restocking. It is hard to fully express how helpful it is to have these essentials on hand. Not only are we able to provide items when students request them, but having hygiene items available also allows us to be proactive.
We have been able to prepare care bags to share with families during parent nights and conferences—quietly removing barriers and helping students come to school confident and ready to learn!
Please see the photo for details about our current drive and the items most needed. If you would like a drop off bin to help us with this drive at your business or organization, please let us know!

🍕 Thank you to the Madison County Health Coalition for providing lunch for our 6th grade Student Council members on Friday! During lunch, scholars had the opportunity to make friendship bracelets and engage in conversation about continuing to encourage a tobacco-free and nicotine-free community!

Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and we’re proud to once again recognize Officer Melton, Officer Faulkner, and Officer Pierce.
These officers do so much more than help keep our campus safe. They build strong relationships with students, offer guidance and mentorship, support our staff, and help create the safe, welcoming environment our school is known for.
Our district recently highlighted them during Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and as a school community, we simply want to echo that appreciation and say thank you from us!
If you see Officer Melton, Officer Faulkner, or Officer Pierce this week, be sure to let them know how much they are appreciated. We are thankful for the dedication, care, and positive presence they bring to our campus every single day. 💙 Thank you!
